About WV Hope Tutoring
A Service of Special Ed Resource
WV Hope Tutoring is operated by Special Ed Resource, a nationwide special needs tutoring company with over 12 years of experience serving families of students with learning differences.
We've delivered more than 100,000 tutoring sessions to students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Our team of 45+ certified tutors understands what it takes to help special needs students succeed.
With West Virginia's Hope Scholarship program, we're proud to serve Mountain State families who now have access to $5,435 in annual funding for their children's educational services — including specialized tutoring.
Our Mission
Every child can learn — they just need the right approach. We exist to connect West Virginia families with specialized tutors who understand learning differences and can provide the individualized instruction that makes a real difference. Whether your child is in Charleston, Huntington, Morgantown, or a rural community, our online tutoring brings expert support directly to you.
Why the Hope Scholarship Matters
For years, families have struggled to afford quality special needs tutoring. Private intervention can cost $75-150+ per hour — out of reach for many West Virginia families.
The Hope Scholarship changes that. With $5,435 in annual funding per student — available to any K-12 student regardless of income — families can now access 50+ hours of intensive, consistent tutoring support without financial barriers.
We handle direct invoicing through the Hope Scholarship program, so you never pay out of pocket. Just focus on your child's progress.
